The Front Range Chapter is one of eleven chapters in Colorado. It draws its members from the Denver metro area, from Longmont to Elizabeth. Most of our summer activities are in the mountains within 1½ hours drive from Golden. FRBCH works to keep trails open to saddle and pack stock today and for future generations through education, service and voice. Without trails where would we ride?
From April through October, 2011 this chapter has contributed 1,689 volunteer hours for a total of $36,072 for the Forest Service. This included wilderness trips to Cub Creek, Goose Creek, Buno Gulch, Payne Creek, Indian Creek, Lost Creek, Lost Park, Captain Mountain and many others. Mileage covered to get to and from these locations was 11,829.
